Strawberry Cucumber Chicken

I rummaged through my backpack, saffron lights gleaming brilliantly pale highlighted edges of steps a grumpy figure blocking my pathway I reached for my wallet and handed him two bills and a coin My bag clung on the cold metal stairs a loud echo tumbled along but no one seemed bothered. Rivers of words flowed clumsily through the dimness of the air, heavily clogged with jaded noise. I squinted at the eerie purple glow and dragged my bag across as it bumped and vibrated. Searching for a seat, seats that feel like carpets carpets that give severe rug-burn. There was only one seat left: squished between a family of five jam-packed on two seats and a young couple who were not so pleased to see me. I wanted to sit at the window. I wanted the wind to blow onto my hair. It was too late. I rummaged through my backpack for my treasured earphones. I knew this day will come I dreaded this always. I could not find my earphones This promised to be one hell of a ride. --- Bobo, Lelo, Titi the m...

When You’re Older You’ll Understand

Three years old he was that day. A party for him, he was surprised. Preschoolers were festive desiring the creamy toffee cake, running hyper, being silly. His hands brushing his ginger curly hair, he adjusted his goofy glasses glaring across with dopey eyes, his mouth watering for a velvety chocolate treat. He wanted the big piece; after all, he was the prince that day. Much more is what he got, what happened to him he didn't anticipate. He saw a Barbie approaching him, her golden hair tied in a bun. He stared into her sapphire eyes, he was staring into a cloudless sky that was reflecting onto her dress. A soft peck, she landed on his cheek. A tingly feeling from her cloud lips, made him smile; it was something he hadn't felt before. His grin slowly disappeared. He was very righteous he felt muddled. His eyes strayed away glancing at his mom, her witty smile blossomed as if telling him: when you're older you will understand.

Desperate Housewives makers plan ’same sex kiss’ to keep viewers hooked

The makers of hit sitcom Desperate Housewives are reportedly planning a same sex kissing scene between Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher, in a bid to keep viewers hooked to the show, after the exit of Nicollette Sheridan. Nicollette Sheridan, who plays Wisteria Lane’s resident man-eater Edie Britt, will have her role terminated in the forthcoming season of the show. Thus, the bosses are planning a same sex kissing between Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher to retain their viewers. “I don’t think a kiss between Eva and Teri’s characters could be ruled out, especially if it keeps people interested in the show,” a source telling Celebuzz.com was quoted.
